Under The Baobab

I was pleased as punch to discover Nikki via pinterest (these are her awesome boards) and even more happy to discover her blog, Baobab Telegraph. Like me, she is a girl from southern Africa living abroad, with her heart back on dusty, southern shores. And she loves fabric, design, art, the outdoors, crafting, interior decorating, photography... are we actually related!?

How much fun to find a kindred spirit. I don't live thousands of miles from my home, but whenever I come across a fellow New Mexican (New Mexico really is it's own unique place -- a lot in some strange ways, like South Africa, I bet) I feel instantly attached. Do you know other South Africans on the East Coast?

hi Camille - I bet New Mexico and South Africa have a lot in common... wish we could get together for a drink and discuss! Anyway, off the top of my head there are at least three others on the East Coast that blog: Frances at the Melting Pot (http://francesjanisch.wordpress.com/), Marie at 66 Square Feet (http://66squarefeet.blogspot.com/) and Kate (http://saffakate.blogspot.com/). And, of course, I know a few around the Boston area too!
